Mother's Day at Turner Field

Since the Braves really stink this year, tickets are cheap and easy to come by. We got lucky and got a last minute deal for $5 club level seats on Mother's Day. And guess what???? Since it was Sunday, it was Kids Run the Bases day....with their mothers!!! Oh my goodness!!! I was so excited to run the bases at Turner Field. My daughter had done it a few times before, so she wasn't nearly as excited! What a great Mother's Day!

Our Eleventh Ballpark-Coors Field...My 40th Birthday Trip!

For my 40th birthday, we took a long weekend trip to Denver, CO. We visited Pike's Peak, saw a concert at Red Rocks, toured downtown Denver and COORS Field!! We took a tour of the field. It was a great tour with lots of info. It was one of the better tours. The purple row of seats shows where the mile high line is.

Our Tenth Ballpark-Tropicana Field

We went to a Sunday, day game-Rays vs. Blue Jays. This was an amazing park. It's indoors...AIR CONDITIONING in July, in Florida...need I say more?!?!? We were on a high anyway...earlier that morning we had disembarked the Disney Dream. Actually, we were a little numb...it was back to reality. People weren't waiting on us and cutting up my daughter's food....I digress...back to the ballpark. We had made new friends on the cruise. They were from Toronto and also went to the game. It was nice running into people we knew at Tropicana Field.

Our Ninth Ballpark-Orioles Park at Camden Yards

This was a great tour, but it was well over 100 degrees.....RECORD highs! It was so hot that we almost ditched the tour half way through, but we toughed it out. It's a beautiful park! We rewarded ourselves with Maryland crab cakes for dinner.

Our Eighth Ballpark-Nationals Park

We took a tour of Nationals Park. The tour was amazing since it ended up being a private tour. We were the only ones that had signed up. The park was great, but getting to the park was another story. Traffic was terrible and we drove by the park at least half a dozen times before we finally realized where we were supposed to go. It was very stressful! The private tour made it all worth it. Since we were the only ones on the tour, we got to throw pitches in the bullpen.
